At its center is a GIA-certified 5.53-carat tanzanite of exceptional presence. Identified by GIA as transparent and violetish blue, the oval gemstone reveals shifting depths of color—sometimes electric, sometimes velvety—with flashes of blue and violet moving across its facets.

The tanzanite is held by four prongs within an elegant 14K white gold mounting. A finely scaled halo and graceful diamond-set shoulders surround the center stone with 0.54 carats of natural round brilliant diamonds, graded G–H color and SI1–SI2 clarity.
